Naija Ludo is a free, web-first ludo game made for players in Nigeria. You can play it straight in your browser — versus the computer or pass-and-play with friends on one device — with no sign-up and no payment. This page explains who we are, what we set out to do, and how the site pays for itself.
What we do
We run a simple, free version of ludo that anyone in Nigeria can open and play. No account, no download required, no money involved in the game itself. Two ways to play:
- Versus computer — a solo game against the computer.
- Pass-and-play — 2 to 4 players sharing one phone or laptop.
There are also free official apps for Android and iOS, for people who prefer an icon on their home screen. Either way, the game is the same and it’s free. Alongside the game, we publish guides and editorial reviews — how to play ludo, and honest comparisons of third-party real-money ludo apps for readers who want them. Those reviews are clearly marked and meant to inform, not push.
Our mission
First, give Nigeria a genuinely good free ludo that loads fast and works on a normal phone — no heavy install, no nagging for an account, no surprise charges. Plenty of ludo apps bury a simple game under sign-ups and ads. We wanted the opposite: open the page, play.
Second, be straight with readers about cash ludo. Real-money ludo apps exist and people search for them, but the space is noisy and uneven. When we review those apps, we compare them on the things that actually matter — dice fairness, withdrawals, fees — and we don’t pretend our free game pays out money. It doesn’t.

How the site makes money
We keep the game free by showing ads and affiliate links to third-party real-money ludo apps. If you click one and sign up or install, we may earn a commission from that company. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it doesn’t change what we play in the game — our game stays free and pays out nothing; it’s for fun.
