Responsible Gaming — 18+ Notice
Naija Ludo’s own game is free and has no money in it. But we advertise third-party real-money ludo apps, and those are strictly for adults. If you choose to play for money, do it carefully.
Real-money play is 18+ and carries financial risk
Cash ludo apps are run by third-party operators. You can lose money. Only play if you are 18 or older, and never stake more than you can afford to lose.
Stay in control
- Set a budget before you start, and stop when you reach it.
- Set time limits and take regular breaks.
- Never chase losses — trying to win back money usually makes it worse.
- Don’t play when upset, tired, or under the influence.
- Keep it fun. If it stops being fun, step away.
Warning signs
Spending more than you planned, borrowing to play, hiding play from family, or feeling anxious about it are all signs to pause. Gambling should never come before your bills, family or wellbeing.
Getting help
If gambling is becoming a problem for you or someone you know, reach out for support. Most reputable operators offer self-exclusion and deposit limits — use them.
A Nigeria-specific help line and support resources will be listed here soon.
On regulation
Following a November 2024 Supreme Court ruling, gaming with prizes in Nigeria is regulated and licensed at state level rather than federally — in Lagos, by the LSLGA. Check the rules in your own state and stick to operators that are properly licensed and transparent. This is general information, not legal advice. See our cash ludo review for more.
